Matte satin coutil, white. Beautiful for a bridal corset. This is not a light weight satin - it's the perfect weight for corset making and has a rich sheen. Cotton viscose blend.

Care Guide

Matte satin coutil; you don't need to pre-wash this fabric unless you plan to wash the garment. Washing will change the feel of this fabric. Wash in cold water and if you put it in a dryer it will shrink (up to 6.25%). Press the fabric while it is still damp, so don't completely dry it.

The photos do not do this justice. It's strong, smooth and not perfect optical / printer paper white, it's very slightly yellowish off-white but not nearly dark enough to be an ivory. It's close to the color of "natural white" silk or "silk white".

The white rayon Petersham tape looks great with it.

Used it for a bridal wedding corset and the bride and I are very happy with it!
