This was my first time making a corset- partially boned for a Renaissance fair- I used about 8 meters of this boning for almost all boning channels, with the exception of the channels near the grommets in the back, and it was excellent to work with! Could be cut with scissors, but tin snips are a bit easier, and filing the ends was easy as well to get the perfect length for the channels. The sew-through aspect made it easy and pain free to sew the binding on with the machine and making the modesty panel with this and my extra coutil, fashion fabric was a breeze thanks to this boning. Wearing the corset, the bones molded to my shape a bit and were comfortable, but definitely gave a lot of support, especially paired with the coutil. I will certainly order again if I make another corset!

They were pretty easy to cut and are perfect for my project. I'm already ordering more since I underestimated how much I needed

Great alternative to whalebone

Flexes and moves just like whalebone (I am familiar with the original stuff) but no whales were harmed in the making of this. Easy to cut with regular scissors and don't really need tips to keep from poking through.

I LOVE THESE BONES!

I absolutely love working with these bones, even more than steel! Easy to cut, use and no broken needles! Definitely recommended, for that "whalebone" feeling :)

Strong and Lightweight

Worked excellent in my corset, perfect for what I needed. Strong and easily shaped with an iron. Initially I was worried that the bones would be ridged based on the striped appearance in the picture, but this is not an issue; the bones are smooth and rounded.
