Hoop connectors are used to create a hoop from a length of spring steel. In this case the steel would need to be 6mm wide of 1/4" wide - fits 7mm wide really well too.  Unlike our hoop connectors for 10mm and 14mm wide steel, these are not pre-crimped in the middle. Instructions will come with these connectors. You will need needle nose pliers to set them.

These fit our 6mm spiral boning too.

Won’t fit on hoop

These were nearly impossible to get onto my (correctly sized) hoop steel. Once I fought one on it held super tightly, to the point I sliced open my hand trying to get it back off to collapse the hoop.

Thank you for letting me know this was a big problem. I'm terribly sorry that you hurt yourself! I've changed the inventory on these now - so that they cannot be sold. I've also sent a sample to another manufactrue to see if I can have them made differently.

The hoop connectors were as good expected and worked for my purposes, though 1 or 2 of them had what looked like rust spots on them. I wasn’t too concerned of that, though, and I would recommend the product to others.

Thanks for letting me know about seeing rust spots. I don't think it's rust, but I haven't seen any marks on any of them...at least not yet. I'll keep an eye out.

I'm very happy with my purchase. The 6mm connectors are the best solution for building cage or elliptical crinolines. The instructions for use are simple and very easy to follow. I highly recommend it.
