Hoop steel 10mm (3/8 inch) wide X .5 mm thick

This hoop steel is spring steel and it always wants to "spring" back to position. This is an important characteristic as it means you can walk through narrow doorways, sit in an arm chair...or car, and the hoops will not crush, bend or crack, they'll spring back into shape as soon as the applied pressure of the doorway or chair has been removed. The plastic coating means this hoop steel slides easily into a casing and is not inclined to rust. Check out the hoop connectors (above) designed to fit this steel. Use them to easily makes hoops. You can also use "U" tips to finish the cut end or plastic tips! If you want to you can use this as corset boning, just cut it to the lengths you need and cap the ends with "U" tips (you'll find them listed above).
